Hi there!Bez-imeni5

Recently I made a project with the probation service of Daugavpils. In the UK a similar project took place which inspired me to do this project; there homeless people took pictures with disposable cameras. The idea of this project is basically the same I think, we conducted it with the clients of the probation service of Daugavpils. The opening of the exhibition took place on the 10th of February 2016.
For me the point is that there are people called „people on the boarder of society“and maybe someone also considers the clients of the probation service to be because they did something against the law. I am just 20 years old and I can tell you that I also did many things wrong in my life. Additionally, I do not understand this expression and I do not like it because I think they are an integral part of our society!
So how this project worked: We gave single-use cameras to 10 clients of the probation service, they could take pictures of whatever they wanted. After some time they returned all the cameras and we developed the pictures. The outcome is 175 pictures that are – if I understand right – dedicated to very positive topics like love, nature, joy, religion and family. To be honest, I asked myself the question, why the pictures are so positive, and I don’t know, maybe it is the same reason why god made tomorrow.
Special thanks to participants of the project, the probation service and Society “ERFOLG” – it was not possible without you.
